Zipwake IT600-E Series E Interceptor with 3 meter cable for replacement or addition to an existing installation. Particularly well suited for any planing or semi-planing boat up to 30 meters (100 feet).
All components have been meticulously designed to withstand shocks and prevent water infiltration, minimizing the risk of costly maintenance and downtime. The interceptor or blade actuation is carried out by means of submersible electric servomotors without calibration in the interceptor unit. Natural water cooling provides excellent working conditions for the brushless DC servomotors, which operate on 12-32 volts.
Installation is made easy with an integrated mounting plate and the option of a concealed or above-the-waterline self-sealing cable feed-through fitting. The preferred mounting option is achieved by simply routing the servo cable differently. Each interceptor comes with a cable feed-through grommet, cable cover and a handy drilling template.
For optimum effect, interceptors of different sizes can be combined to cover as much of the transom edge as possible. Full width is always the optimum arrangement from a lift/drag ratio perspective.
